Having lived overseas and in various states in the U.S. throughout his life, Justin is moved by cultures, traveling and the natural environment. Photography first became a part of his life at a young age when he would return from a family trip and gather together around the projector screen. To this day, Justin can hear the distinct sound of the film tray being loaded into the projector and the laughter shared by everyone as his dad clicked through each slide. Justin began to seriously pursue photography in college when he purchased his first camera, the Canon EOS Rebel 2000, a film camera. It wasn't too long before he migrated to the digital world with the Olympus E-1, a 5 megapixel DSLR that has become a true classic amongst 4/3rds aficionados. Justin's primary photographic interests are adventure photography, environmental journalism, landscapes, and humans in perspective to the environment.
